What a Summer!

Wow! What a busy summer!! A few of the highlights include:

• A road trip to Tennessee that involved the Adirondacks, a crazy frenchman, a crew from nova scotia, and sleeping 8 in a kitchen!
• Isaac's first trip to the beautiful Berkshire mountain range.
• House hunting
• My 29th birthday
• Family get-togethers...

We've made more memories in the last 30 days than the previous 3 months combined!! Woo!

Adding to the string of fun and fancy free joy at home, things have been going really well at work. As usual, me and the crew are taking our project to new heights while enjoying our time together. Ha! Today, we had a scooter race. Yes... think 70's, foot-powered scooter.

We did time trials up and down the trail out behind out building. I came in fourth, falling a full 3 seconds behind the leader (Dustin, that was crazy man!), but far from the back of the pack. :) What a blast!! This was a proper scooter with 8 inch wheels and a shock. The first few pumps didn't feel like much, but after that... WHOA! BLISTERING UPRIGHT SPEED!! It was terrifying! While many waivered, we only had 2 major wipeouts. (Not too shabby for the fact that we had 30+ participants). My job is fun, and the people I do it with are even more so.

Speaking of 30+, I'm turning 29 at the end of the month. I'm almost to the land of 30-somethings. It's amazing how the time flew. Bring on the next decade baby!
